An Elegant Barn Wedding at Camp Korey

Could it really have been more than 2 months since my last blog entry? Oh how bad! Well, it sure was a very busy wedding season including a move of our business (an entry on that one will follow soon too) and a busy personal life, but I am finally back in blogging business and have lots of fabulous weddings and events to share.
Today, I'd like to start with Nicole and Gregor's wedding who celebrated their marriage last May at beautiful Camp Korey - a wonderful venue surrounded by low Cascade hills and fields with a beautiful park and stunning estate buildings. A truly amazing venue!
In collaboration with True Colors Events, we had a fabulous time working with Nicole and Gregor to come up with design concepts that transformed the garden and Hippodrome into an elegant event space. Lush floral, elegant linens and draping, specialty furniture, lighting, candles and more candles created a luxurious ambiance.

Wow!

It was a warm and sunny day in May so the ceremony could take place in their beautiful garden setting.

The reception decor featured tall floral designs in cream, peach and green - inside the tall vases we picked up the gold accents by winding long-stemmed French tulips onto thick gold wire.

A mix of round and square tables offers the opportunity to create different looks for the different tables: on the square tables we used square vases paired with long-stemmed candle holders with floating candles.

The long rectangular head table in the center of the room was the focal point of the reception with even taller arrangements and a long runner of floral and candles.
