I love Kelly and Jim's wedding! What a super sweet couple, and a warm color palette with such a romantic feel for their ceremony and reception!! They got married last October at a vintage theater in Portland/Oregon - planned and coordinated by Kelly's brother (and my dear friend and business partner!) Travis McBurney of True Colors Events. It was our last event with this ever so fabulous team from True Colors, which makes this wedding dear to my heart on so many different levels! It was a special treat to get to know Kelly and Jim and planning their vintage inspired wedding with an elegant garden touch.
Thank you, Stephanie Cristalli, for the wonderful, wonderful images!!!
For Kelly's bouquet we used blush pink, light peach, and cream roses, peach calla lilies and spray roses mixed with hydrangea, Queen Anne's lace and green geranium foliage to lend it a touch of vintage garden.
We kept the ceremony decor simple - a silk draped arch with interwoven tall branches and tall candelabras and hurricane candles created a beautiful backdrop.
For the reception tables we designed two different centerpiece styles: some tall ones sitting on top of tall glass vases, and low mixed vase arrangements in their wedding colors peach, pink, cream, and green.
I love this picture of Kelly and Jim seeing the reception ballroom for the first time! As per Kelly: "The flowers were absolutely amazing and exactly what I had envisioned for our wedding! My bouquet was so gorgeous - I teared up when I first saw it! Christiane, you are so talented at what you do, and we were so in love with what you created."
Thank you, Kelly, Jim, and Travis!
