What a beautiful and luxurious wedding! Madalynn and Andrew tied the knot over Thanksgiving weekend in the fabulous Dome Room of the Arctic Club Hotel in Seattle. They celebrated in style and every detail was tended to - flawlessly coordinated by Stephanie Solomon of Solomon Event Planning. The day was beautifully captured by Yours By John and you might agree when you see the below pictures - his work is simply gorgeous!
For both Madalynn and Andrew, who grew up in the Northwest but don't live in Seattle, this was a destination wedding. But this didn't mean a big problem for them as at least their wedding venue was clear from the start: the beautiful vintage Arctic Club Hotel, which Andrew's family owns.

The ceremony decor was simple yet super elegant - with tall glass vases lining the aisle, a round stage right in the center of the dome, an aisle runner, and a thick layer of rose petals - all setup in a semi circle which was the perfect decor for the room.
The reception was simply breathtaking! In going with the existing colors of the ballroom we used ivory satin linens with a little sparkle, designed tall orchid centerpieces, paired this with clear acryllic chairs, draped the entrance to the back room, added table- and wall up-lighting and candle light which created the most romantic and luxurious atmosphere. Simply stunning!
The long head table was lined with low floral designed mixed with high and low glass candle holders and votives.
The cocktail lounge {provided by Rented Elegance} was part of the ballroom and provided the guests a comfortable area to relax, mingle and chat.
Madalynn wanted us to incorporate lots of 'bling' into the decorations, and
we had so much fun doing so: using bouquet jewels and diamond ribbon for
the bouquets, using trailing crystal strands for the centerpieces,
finding a table linen with rhinestones, and using a diamond ribbon to
the cake.
