I was very much looking forward to blogging about this gorgeous wedding of Elena and John! Oh, how I love this couple!! They are truly the sweetest people and one of the most memorable and adorable clients ever. And because most planning meetings were attended by parents and siblings too, I was able to meet almost the whole family. So fun to come up with decor ideas together!
Elena and John celebrated their big day at the
Seattle Aquarium last October - a stunningly beautiful affair for 200+ guests. The Seattle Aquarium offers a gorgeous setting for a grand and elegant affair!
The ceremony took place in front of the large tank in the Aquarium foyer - the lighting, colors, and beauty of this setting created a breath taking backdrop for their ceremony.
Tall 10' trees blooming with orchids and draped with many crystal strands offered a stunning frame for the ceremony. Wow!!
All the many wonderful details for Elena & John's big day were pulled together and coordinated by the ever so fabulous Merry Beth Turpin of
Aisle of View and photographed by the oh, so talented
I so much love this look for the reception! Black table linens and chairs, lush white floral centerpieces, blue uplighting. And lots of bling!
A wonderfully elegant atmosphere!!
Wonderful lighting details - including the cool light box for the wedding cake and uplighting for the wall and their ice bar - were provided by the ever so fabulous team of GreenLight Event Design.
